Finally got my tub back from being painted at 11 last night! It looks great with the new paint and rhino liner. I worked on it all day today.

-set tub (new fiberglass) on chasis
-installed all heaters and ducts
-installed dash with all new guages, lights, knobs -everything!
-installed steering column - freshly painted

This has been the best part of the entire frame-off so far - installing all the new stuff!

Time to hit the wiring harnes tomorrow - recovered from original jeep.

Finished body lift removal and poly mount replacement. Gutted interior for cleaning and rust bullet. Working on shift linkage and steering issues now.

Made an attempt at removing my front leaf springs.. got the shock bolts off.. but when I tried the U-bolts I bent a perfectly good wrench. Looks like its time for a breaker bar...

Replaced the starter but did not fix my (perceived) problem. It still sounds like a catepillar cranking. Hey, at least it cranks and all the parts are new (except the flywheel). On to the next thing. I have a list of about 25 "minor" repairs.

Gave my '74 CJ5 some new steering linkages and tie rod bushings, after the fresh coat of flat black of course.

Now I can finally get the Jeep out of the garage to work on my other car!!

New exhaust manifold, new O2, new muffler, new CAT.
Now it sounds strange without the exhaust leak. I hope it passes SMOG.
