You need a plasma cutter. Those things are incredible. I think they have a flux capacitor in them...

Put the accesories back on the engine, re-installed the grill/radiator assemble, rewired the engine compartment and installed the fenders. In general made it start looking like a Jeep again.

So Maverick, is your signature from the original Vanishing Point?

It sounds REAL familiar.

Started power brake conversion. Got the yj booster and master installed, have to bend the lines around to the other side and pick up the brake line adapters tomorrow so I can hook it up. Think it should be good.

And this radio station was renamed KOWALSKI after our lone hero the super driver of the golden west. They gonna get him baby, smash him, rape the last beautiful free soul on this planet. The question isnt when he's gonna stop, but who is gonna stop him.

I hope that answers your question mr. mopar. By the way do you know what it takes to catch a mopar? .... a mopar! (from the remake)

And to keep me legit on the subject of this thread. I parked my cj next to my ford today

Looks awesome. I like the roll cage, especially where it goes under the door openings. I love it when the Jeep starts going back together and actually makes the transition from a useless pile of parts to an actual vehicle that you'll love to drive. Mine just made it to that point last night.

Installed my new power brake booster and mc. Then found out the front drivers side brake caliper was seized up and needed to be replaced. Would have finished installing the new caliper but it started to snow. Oh well tomorrow ill finish it up and go for a test drive.

Thanks, the door bars are actually very easy, 110* bend up and then bend it back parallel, cut fit paint to match. Jeg's in columbus cut all my bars for the cage, but I had to give then the bend specs since they had nothing on file. I used there kit to convert from a 4 point bar to a 6 point cage and then their pro-street door bar kit, the whole thing cost me around $200. I had them cut everything long so I could fit it. If anyone is interested they claimed they reatined the info for future use.

By the way Maverick, I thought it was familiar, do you know what car is standing upright in the final scenes of the original???
Is your user name an indication of your other ride? I have few Fords myself.
