Removed T150 and transer case so I could put in the np435. Yay 6.68 to 1 first gear! Got the tranny and adapter for 400.

removed the front driveshaft and tried to grind off the rivets holding the bumper on, my brother stepped on my cutoff disk so that pretty much halted the progress. next on the list is to get the rear axle out and new perches burned on.

Installed new seat covers that were a Christmas gift from my wife (Thanks Honey!). Rotated tires, changed the oil and cleaned out some of the clutter that clogged up the back.

Plan to list my soft doors on Craigslist today.

Today I did the "covered in mud" mod. Most fun I've had working on it, hahaha.

I also ordered some Hella off road lights and a new headlight knob, changed the oil, and cut off the ridiculously ugly tail pipes that stuck out almost a foot past the rear end.

The after market springs I got from 4wd hardware or quadratec were too weak and shortReinstalled my original detent springs in my dana 300. . And got my shift rails back in. I also pressed on a dust shield on each transfer case yoke, using loctite 680 and pressing down on with my press. I left 'em under pressure of the press for atleast 10 minutes.

Funny, I have been sitting on the beach in Maui today for the 7th day in a row (visiting in-laws) and dreamed about getting home to NorCal to pull my motor and trans to rebuild them both on my cj7 this winter.

I am sure my dreams will quickly change as I am back at work then spending nights in the driveway with 30* weather with busted knuckles and broken bolts covered in undercarriage sludge, blood and rust...
