well'..... I finally tore into the jeep. I brought home a 76CJ7 Automatic,Quadra trac.
Levis edition. It had actully been in the family a long time. Had some big plans for it. Then I was in an accident and my right arm was mangled badly. I now have decent movement with it thanks to some pins and plates. So I 've finally started
on the CJ,plans are a little bit smaller due to my limitations but I'm having fun. I think its good physical therapy aswell. anyhow heres some pics

the transmision is baked and the Quadra trac is slipping. Engine looks okay, 38 000 miles on it.

Patched a leaking freeze plug using some JB Weld WaterWeld. Filled the radiator back up. No leaky!

Reattached the shifter for the transfer case.

Made a new trans/trans case mount. The old one was beat up pretty bad from rocks. This one should take a beaten. The stock CJ one I had was not much more than tin.

Powerwashed the engine and undercarriage. Adjusted fuel mixture and idle speed. Enjoyed driving it around town.

Fixed the blinkers with a new switch ,some wiring and a bulb,

The blinker fluid was full so I didn't have to barrow any from one of the guys in GD.

Ron, have you switched to synthetic yet, or do you still run OEM type?
