Yesterday, I replaced the P.O. incorrect fuel filter, both rear u-joints, the complete clutch linkage, and refurbished the old clutch rod because the new one is 3 inches too short.

Imagine what the clutch rod looked like. The end linkages rubbed halfway or more through.

The brakes sucked when I re-did the rears! Pulled the wheels off and noticed I was 50% on this one - I got the left front shoe on back of the drum and, of course, the left rear shoe on the front of the drum - doh! I got the right side perfect, however - go figure!

I did a twin-stick conversion as well on my '75, really sweet but I never take it out of 4-low so I'm not sure why I did it!

driving her to work...three nights in a row now...I work in the remote mountains of northern california...drive 5 miles down a hill and then 5 miles up a hill that is 11 & 16% grades...getting to the top of the mountain...I am then at 4000 ft elevation and enjoy the view as I pull in to the switchyard...thats the power plant off in the distance...

11 gallon plastic tank under the seat. The metal one had rust in it and sprung a leak so I repaired the hole, boiled it out and now use it on my 10kw generator.
