Bought a set of tires and rims and started the install. Didn't get finished until after dark but here is some pics of the beginning. 42in Iroks on a set of H1's recentered on a double bead......

thanks!! i love the way they look from the drivers seat looking out at them!
and yes, i love rocking original paint! oxidated, chiped, faded and all! still looking good, in my opinion!

got the poor thing up to 90mph to day on the interstate thought the trans and transfercase where going to shoot gears through the floor

Gave a 12 year old on my sons soccer team a ride home. First time in a Jeep.

That was downhill with a tailwind while drafting a big rig right? That's the only way I hit 65 in mine.

another entry...


8/18 had main driveshaft CV joint & u-joints replaced - shaft balanced & installed
installed passenger seat and rear seat, seat belts
8/19 smogged & passed...finished registration, title in the mail...driving to work now
8/21 ordered new seat belts, side markers, fender flares, high lift jack, wiper arms & blades, dash knobs...washed, waxed, detailed...removed old gas can & cargo carrier...removed & cleaned taillight lens...lubed chassis

Cleaned up and painted shifter levers, housings, and boot brackets and reinstalled with stainless steel hardware.
