Installed my new tach. Decided to re-wire the stereo and cb power and clean up the power & grounds. Found the PO had hooked 12v ignition to the body of the oil gauge.... quite a surprise when I tried to consolidate grounds! Smoke!

Nothing today. Yesterday, I finished building my winch plate, mounted and wired my new Warn VR8000. Tomorrow, I'm taking it down to Ouray/Silverton for some wheeling and camping!

Replaced the radiator today. Out with the original 31 yr old 2 core and in with a new 3 core. No more running a little hot. and best of all only an automatic transmission leak on the bottom, easy to tighten. I should have done this months ago.

Where did you buy the new radiator. Was it pricey.

I installed the PA speaker that I've had forever, finally got tired of looking at it in the garage. Then I gave it a wash and wax.

I cut 2 good size holes in my hood to attach some 280ZX hood vents.
Took my time and i still jacked up one side,
Dull jigsaw blades don't cut worth s*%t,
An angle grinder with a cut off wheel really isn'y the best tool to use in this case,
The people at Home Depot are starting to look like the people at Walmart,
A few new blades some paint and a 45 min to round up 12 machine screws, and fender washers
that look similar...all in all a good little project,
I will try to post some pics when the sun returns.

Wire brushed the rust off of my Tuffy Center console.
Everything rust up here.

Moved it back about 4" for more clearance on the shifter and better position for the arm rest.
Tired of smashing my pinky finger on the console.

Someday will have to hook up the radio.
I did find a lot of tools I was missing. Even found a CB radio in the bottom.

Picked up my new hard top project today. Unloaded the trailer and started the tear down of the top. It needs a little glass work but not too bad to be 25 plus years old. Best of all I didn't have to go too far to get it. Nice day for a top down 150 mile ride, except for the smoke from alittle wildfire locally.
