Put the new radiator in, installed the new washer pump to replace the one I broke the nipple off when tearing it down to put the frame on. Also a new radiator cap..

replaced a bad exaust manifold gasket. Was popping pretty bad when the gas was let off...but now the problem is fixed and it runs a lot smoother and sounds a lot better as well

Installed the radio antenna to prep for tomorrows radio install. Haven't had a radio in it for 10+ years.

Put on my newly acquired OEM Chrome Rims. Spent about 2 hours on each cleaning the old plastic coat off. Best method discovered was Easy Off Oven Cleaner. It did the best job even better than Kleen Strip as suggested in an earlier thread. Slowly I am renewing this old warrior. Next up a full brake job, front and rear, including new rotors, pads and paint on the calipers up front. Pictures will follow tomorrow.

Just to clean up the bare pans in the front, I picked up some of this at Oreilly for $5...

I vacuumed out the floor pans, cleaned them with some purple power, and went at it. One can did the front from firewall to just under the seats.

I hit the trans cover with some Krylon satin, and will need to do some touch up work if I spray the back floor.
This is just a poor mans liner job, and I didn't waste my Raptor kit on this body thats going away anyway. Its a huge difference from the peeling pans.

Cleaned and painted the alternator brackets, fan, water pump, pullies, starter, dipstick tube, motor mount brackets, thermostat housing, oil pan, and timing chain cover.

Looking forward to the pics once you get them mounted!

Are you gonna sell the "turbine/hurricane" wheels? There seems to be a fair amount of jeepers that like them. There is a thread or two on here that discusses them...
