Installed new coolant reservoir, did some cleaning under the hood while I was in there. Was only working on it for about an hour but now I'm getting the "I haven't seen you all day" stuff from the misses.

Looped by heater coolant hose back to the water pump to bypass the leaking heater core. Tightened up my an exhaust hanger and located a mounting location for another, and started to install the cloth top, that is, until the battery in my drill died. Boo to only having one battery.

Finished up the 1 piece axle install. Had to replace a fuel line as well since I tried to move it and it decided to get a nice big crack in it and figured it was time to change it. Worked on bleeding the brakes for hours, about to go the store today and get a new MS bc i'm pretty sure it took a crap on me as well

Took the top off and drove it like I stole it. Nothing like coming home and smelling like exhaust fumes.

Spent some time gathering an array of data on distributor advance and vaccum amount at different engine speeds.

Having gotten insurance, registration, license plate and inspection sticker, I was ready, but I had made up my mind to do the external oiling mod on the distributor gears while Nugene was still new. Done this morning ( learned a neat trick if anyone tries it) Days to plan it, 3 hrs to do it. Peace of mind.
This afternoon, put Wifey in it, latched her in her 5-point and we rode around Greune and River Road. Now with the shakedown cruise done I can start working on any small stuff that shows up now that it can be driven.
Looked at bill of sale when I bought it....13 months.
