I installed a CRT HEI distributor. It was pretty easy after I read this link at jeepaholics.com. It is the instructions from the manufacturer, but with notes... the notes were the greatest help. I still have to get the timing set right, but am pleased with the dizzy, and with how many wires I got to pull from the engine bay.

Took the top off, and added a fresh coat of wax that was terribly overdue.

Very busy week for me... new CJ and all.

Today I took the hard top off for the first time and went to the beach. It looked a bit odd with full hard doors, but the wife isn't ready to go doorless yet... haha... and before she'll ride I'll need half doors or ride like it is. I was also given a bikini top bought for a YJ, but didn't work out with his family bar... so I tweaked the channels on the front and slapped it on... works great for a free new top. I didn't mount the tie down straps, as it wraps conveniently around my tractor jack mounted in the rear cargo area.

AMC 20 rebuild day.....like 13 or something. Cleaned up and painted some parts. I think ill go with the gun metal gray for the diff cover. Waiting on brother-in-law to weld the truss, then it all goes back together.

Mike G - I'm jealous.. Not only about the CJ2A, but a large garage, a lift, and a CJ2A..

Got the Eastwood Inner Frame Coating today from the FedEx guy... Now a few warm dry days and I'll be able to start on the frame. It's May and we are still in the 40's here with the weeks at a time of rain..

I wish that was my shop. That's my buddies place. I need to do the Eastwood frame protection to my frame. I primered it with bloxide but it's rusting.

Worked on the AMC 20. grinding, cleaning, painting. Decided to paint a wheel to see if I liked the color. I wanted BLACK, but that's kinda gettin played out. So what do y'all think of the color on the wheel?

FUNNY. Yea, Superior one piece. I didn't feel right even GIVING those axles to a fellow jeeper. I'm trussin it up and disc brakes, 4.10's. I'm not a serious rock climber so hopefully it will be more than I need.

Drove it to work, this morning, after the headlights went out on the J 10.
