I ditched the Holley Blue for a e2000 fuel pump.

Put new brake lines to the font calipers. No more long brake hoses dangling near the wheels. Now both lines Tee together at the differential and one singel line is routed next to the ARB hoses up to the frame.

Scored a set of seats, bumpers, and a dash off craigslist for 100. Installed the back seat, removed the risers from the new seats, toss the seats, installed the rear bumper, and painted and installed the dash pad. And for the first time my wife AND my baby got to ride in the jeep.

Fired my 79 CJ 7 up, drove her to work (12 miles), and she ran great. Going to try and advance my timing a degree or two today to see if I can peak her just a little more...

Bolted the left-front hub back on after it fell off while backing into my driveway... Guess it just vibrated loose.

Had the rear drive shaft shortened from 23.5" to 22.5" to work with my new Dana 60 rear axle.

Finally was able to use passenger side rear view mirror since owning jeep (2 months) after reading on here somewhere you had to adjust it to look through the front windshield to see it.

I know the feeling. You'll be home soon enough. I had a new to me CJ7 waiting for me when I got home. My dad bought it off my brother in law for 1k with my money...for me. Haha. I came home and my CJ was my decompression tool. I've spent countless hours on it and love every second. It's just as much a symbol to me of what I've been a part of in the military. Sorry, off topic sniff sniff.

Stay safe and get home soon! Thank you for your service!
