Put on my freshly rebuilt Carter BBD and a new fuel filter, still waiting for a new tank so primed the float bowl with a squirt bottle and cranked it up a while...

I had fun

Today I disassembled the T-18 trans, fished the broken thrust washer out of the bottom, and reassembled it. Then I assembled the trans to the engine and reinstalled the engine/trans back in the Jeep. Got sunburned doing it too.

Why do I keep doing this?

found another small rust spot did some grinding and welded in a small spot. Finished drilling the mounting holes in the transmission crossmember. Came up with how to put in the anti wrap bars and the transfer skid plate. The epic continues!!!!!!!

Replaced upper and lower ball joints and u joint on driver's side. Real b#tch to do...must've been the originals. Had to use my brand new 20 Ton press to get evrything out and cut the U joints in half with a grinder. Three hours later and one more side to go!

Troubleshot my Engine temp. and Fuel Quanity guages. Pulled Speedo guage and found they where both toast.

PO did not have them hooked up correctly. I previously repaired the fuel quanity sender, (bad float), quanity gage worked for about 1/2 of a day.

New guages will be here before next weekend.
