Took a day off so I don't get burned out. I've worked on it every day for the past 3 weeks.

Completed the blower motor upgrade. Still waiting on the new duct hose from 4wd hardware. The new VDO motor required a 3.5" hole in the firewall not 3.25"

Clutch was started being super hard to engage so dropped the tranny to replace my clutch. Clutch was 4 months old so we were confused but when we checked it the clutch was good as new. Wish I would've taken pictures but there was about a 1/4" rivet on the input shaft where the throw out bearing moves on. Took it to a machine shop they fixed it we put a new clutch in anyways because it was warrantied. Noticed the clutch linkage parts were failing finally after 30 years went to a local shop picked up the parts and called it all a day. This was the first time I've ever done heavy work on a vehicle and I loved every minute of it.

Broke out the welder to weld a ball on the end of the tailgate hinge bolts that I had to drill out. Worked great, was able to get them all out (tub side), put the tailgate on. Should get the corner pieces for the soft top this week and I'm in business!! Just in time for the snow

Scored a 33x12.5 spare tires and a set of CJ7 high back seats in pretty good shape. Best part, they were free.

Sure looks purty.. I like the leather wrap on the dashboard jesus handle..

Is that the factory location for the tach?

I built 2 sub harness' so I can install my new CD/Cassette Stereo receiver in the center console, replaced and rewired the dash mounted cig lighter. I plan on installing a double cig lighter in the console as well. Just waiting on an antenna extension cable I had to order in because the local Radio Shack is completely worthless.

Looked for the old seat slider to check for re-use potential: not gonna happen.
Waiting on headlight retainer rings from the sponsor to get those put in.

Also installed the CB antenna mount, used a side mount so it looks just like the factory radio antenna base.
