I reminded him that I'm taking the Trailblazer today and not him because he keeps stalling at idle.
But I did track the shipment of my 100' of new vacuum lines. Should be here tomorrow so I know what I'm doing over the weekend.
Today I mounted a high lift jack to the front bumper, replaced all the rusty beat up old lug nuts with shiny new chrome ones with the security nut. Also replaced the old pitted radio antenna and base mount with a brand new black, powder coated one. Oh, and put the retainer track on the windshield frame and footman loops in the rear to put my new bikini top on. Is it me or does anybody else find it to be a pain in the butt to put the Bikini top on by yourself.
Today not even thinking about her...letting hands and fingers heal up and watching Talledega. Yesterday fininshed up mocking up and installing the 4.3 for first fit. (Write up to follow next week hopefully.) Got everything to fit, had to move motor 2" forward and norvak transfrecase adaptor 2" backwards to allow stock drive shafts but its all in there, welder coming on tuesday for motor mounts (i'll be glad to quit banging my knees on the c-clamps) then comes the fun of electrical fuel and exhaust.
