Finally swapped in another speedometer gear for the 35s and washed all the crap off of it. Took it for a drive on the country roads, looks like the speedo is still off a little bit.

Replaced rear brake shoes & drums. The drums were oversized so couldn't be turned. The brake pedal would go to almost the floor on the first push and to stop I had to pump them a second time. Also my parking brake works now for the first time.

the guy mis quoted me the first time @ 600 bucks. it shuld have been 800-1000 dollars. the tub is inside and under the belly, fire wall sandwitched, wheel houses sandwitched fenders under and in the engine compartment, the inside of the tailgate and the inside of the tub walls. the job leaves a lot to be desiered. he did a 1/2 *** job of masking off anything so i have liner on the dash, very thick runny areas and then good looking areas. there is primer over spray and clumping all over the jeep. as far as i'm conserened its a jeep and the liner does it's job. but i'll never send anyone his way for a liner job. i would have paied much more for a cleaner more proffessional job. it's also been a 4 month process.........DONT TAKE THE LOWEST BIDDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Installed new Pilot bushing, throwout bearing, clutch plate and cover plate. Replaced the oil seal and front bearing cap on the tranny, and replaced the gaskets.

Tomorrow, reinstalling the Transfer Case, hooking the front and rear drive shafts up and buttoning her up for a trip to Dayton for the weekend.
