Changed my tranny fluid. Got gear oil all over my face. Cussed a bit and hit my face on the TCase Skid. Cussed some more. Drove home. Lifes good.

nice..its amazing how you can swamp them and they just keep running...

I finished up my lift ,while changing out pitman arms I tryed to change seals on the P-arm shaft and couldnt get them out so I left it be for now..broke a pitman arm puller on the first try, second try I heated the heck out of it while there was alot of tension on the puller and gave it a good wack with a maul and she flew off..

Took a look at an exaust leak on my right side and found that my headder is cracked 3/4 of the way around at the collector. I don't know if I'll weld repair it or buy new ones...

Adjusted my clutch linkage, got the lock on my stock center console fixed and finally got my hardtop off! It will probably start raining all week now. I also ordered a hartop lift and a new tan bikini top. I'll probably take out the carpet today.

Attached a friend's hoist to my roll bar, and hoisted a upright air compressor into the bed, and hauled it home, on it's side.
Took off the tiny fog lights, and replaced the cut rear seat belt.

Last weekend installed Tuffy Security console with new Clarion CD player and 6 Disc changer. This is lucky #5 stereo, the dash or "waterfall" as it has become known as took care of the previous ones. I wouldn't have worried about a stereo but after listening to every little noise the engine, tranny, etc. makes over the years I have beocme paranoid while driving, although I can tell by sound when I am 1/2 quart low on oil.

This weekend I am deciding on when and where to finally order my lift from. Not sure when I will have time to install yet but the money is burning a hole in my pocket.

Re-installed the stock gas tank, newly painted(Krylon), and original bent-when -removing skid. Coated of course with rattle can undercoating. Used 3 ratchet straps and a left-handed RBFH to get the holes lined up, but it's in. Then tried to attach the 10 ft of fuel line, on the return side. Thinking maybe I should have gotten 11 ft.

hmm what did I do today....I (hopefully ) fixed the clutch linkage, and started trying to fix the fact I have no dash lights... Its almost ready to get a new painless wiring harness when I get the new body (too much rust to just weld new pieces for the panels). oh and the engine, tranny and transfer case will be pulled taken apart and checked for worn pieces and re sealed....sounds easy...
