I pulled the fenders, front and the tub in less than 4 hours. I was surprised how easy it is. Getting ready for a complete restore on my new to me '57 Willys.

Went to the junk yard and picked up a glove box door and the hard door strap keepers. Cleaned them up and slapped it them on. Then took the beast with the family to get ice cream././.

Wife drove it and then I watched it leak oil all over the place. Probably just going to wait until I pull the engine to fix the leak though. Pretty sure it's either coming from the oil pump or pressure sender.

Also figured out that the heater core is shot.

ugh!

We finishished fitting the fiberglass hood got all the holes drilled and removed it. Then shot it flat black... Came out great. Another coat tomorrow and that'll be done. Got the diamond plate rocker covers painted with plasti-dip spray black and purchased the stainless bolts needed to mount them... Seems like a great product so far nice finish and supposed to be way more durable than regular paint...Will post picks tomorrow after it's all mounted..

Took dad's CJ-7 with the newly swapped ford 302 motor out today. Did some decent burnouts with the stock AMC 20 with 2-piece axles with 33" tires

I did that about 10 years ago with my 5.0L. It was great until one burnout cost me ~$600. The spring perches broke from the axle so the axle spun up into the floor board. Blew my 2 week old custom drive shaft into 20 pieces, bent the pinion, dented the floor of my tub, all kinds of fun stuff. Thank god I had a locker in the front so I could drive it home.

Today I fully reassembled and sealed my Dana 300.
