No big deal but i fixed that stock under the hood light on my 81' cj5. Was broken since i got it and just gave me something to keep me occupied.

Picked up some used TSL's and one used Pro-comp 31" from the neighborhood...TSL's are kinda dry, but the Pro-comp is in great shape. Don't have any $ in them, maybe good for spares.

I redid my rocker arm bridges and pivots, painted my valve cover and air intake assembly. The valve cover is now Chevy Orange w/ a gloss black oil cap and the air assembly is Gloss black. Eventually the entire engine block will be orange.

Got my new dash, painless wiring harness, switches and some other random parts I needed today. It was like Christmas. Rims should be here tomorrow. Going to be a fun weekend.

After buying it and letting it sit for about 5 years, I finally had the carb rebuilt, replaced all the vacuum lines, installed a new smog pump, replaced the drag link and got it smogged (freaking Ca. emissions). Smog guy told me it's the first Jeep he has seen in a long time that had all the factory smog controls in place and working!!!!! Tomorrow: Front end alignment!!!!

Well, loaded her on a flatbed and sent her down to a Jeep shop in New Jersey.

On the menu:

New gears front and back
New Roll cage
HD steering system
HD brake upgrades
Some body work

I'm giddy like a school boy. I may not see the jeep for several weeks. That's okay - gonna have it ready for the warm weather - which up here will be about the end of April.....

reinstalled the oil sensor. It was lose. Sent pics off to Howell to see if the correct injection system was installed. It's surging a little and I want to ensure I have the correct chip in it.
