Bought a 304 that was rebuilt 3000 miles ago with an aluminum intake and hedman headers, Dana 30 and amc 20 with 4.56 full time lockers and a set of tires and wagon wheels for 500 bucks. Now I just need to find a nice tranny to go along with it.
Well today i finally had time to put my transmission back in. Piece of a gear had grinded off and was bouncing up between the other gears and locking them up. But finally got it out and got a new gear in and we're good to go now.
Put on my 38's, got Team Rushed, removed my fenders, and relocated all of my ignition components to the firewall.
I NEED A SINGLE 15X8 MICKEY THOMPSON OR SIMILAR ALUMINUM BULLET HOLE WHEEL!!!!

Picked up a 360. It has an aluminum intake, and mild cam. My deployment got moved up several months, but when I get home I'll rebuild it and install it with a JY TBI conversion. That said, if anybody wants a running 304 (left bank passes a little oil) I'll have one ready for you in ~ a year.

1982 CJ-7 2003 4.3 chevy vortec, 4L60E, Clocked Dana 300 35 x 12.5 x 15 KM2 on Cragar 399's. Vanco Brake Booster. Power steering conversion. Warn front and rear bumpers with swing away. Moser 1 piece rears. Rear OX.

Had to take it in to have the tranny removed and replaced due to the "help" of someone else. Unfortunately dont have the garage space or time to do it myself. Also bought YJ Half hard doors for $250 which was a steal if you ask me, they were in primo condition although I will have to paint them. Will be ordering new supertop, seat belts and other misc. items today!
Replaced the 2nd/3rd shift fork while I was on a conference call for work earlier. Gotta bolt it back on the tranny in a few minutes and see if it solves my problem. If not, I guess I'll be pulling the tranny back out and replacing the entire synchro. Please let this work, please let this work! (I've already pulled the tranny apart once and did a rebuild on it, just don't want to do it again if I can avoid it.
