Team Rushed my Jeep

Finished making my MSD plug wires. Installed new Autolite Platinum plugs and the new cap, adapter and rotor. What an amazing difference. My 360 used to surge RPM's downward in a steady rythm. Now it idle smooth and seems to run a lot better. Unfortunately no noticeable MPG increase. Cant expect much with a V8, 3sp Auto Tranny and 33"s.

JeepHammer is a great asset to this site!!!!

I hooked up the front drive shaft to the newly clocked Dana 300 and guess what! It's too short now. I should have known that would be the case. I also had to grind on the t-case output yoke to make the double cardan H yoke clear since the deflection angle is now 25 degrees. It's always something else!!! Gotta get the drive shaft lengthened tomorrow.

finished putting the t-case, d-shafts and accersories on after replacing the throw out bearing. Oh yeah, had the fly wheel ground down too, what a difference.

Nothing. Have to help move a friends project truck out of our old shop today since we lost our lease and his is the last one in there.

Have the carb on my desk right now, going to tear it down later.

Paint Prep

Spent the last 3 days getting it ready to paint. I was black for the first 8 years and then white for the last 22 years. Now getting ready to make it 'midnight metallic blue'. Will be shooting some primer this afternoon. Here's some photos.

I had to tack weld the inner fender back onto the outer fender where it separated.

Jeeps..... Because 99.997% of the world is unpaved!

Tire Carrier

Finally finished construction of my swing away tire carrier and mounted it to the ole Jeep. Decided to beef up the bumper mounts to compensate for the added weight. Looks great. Cannot wait to get it powder coated!!
