Drove it to work. There are usually two other TJ's there, but my boss is off this week.

I replaced the silly chromed plastic skull tire valve caps that were on the passenger side only. I used nice metal caps. After all that I was tired and took a nap.

Got my differential plug out last night with a torch and a slightly larger (metric equivalent) allen socket head hammered into it. Today I drove the jeep for the first time and found out I'll be rewiring it, as all the dash gauges and lights either don't work or are mixed up, and I'm pretty sure the brake lights don't work.

My biggest accomplishment in the past 24 hours was setting my engine bay on fire with carb cleaner while searching for a vacuum leak. I think i'll try propane or cigar smoke next. Of course the engine still works.

Well look at the bright side............. it's a good excuse to put a fresh coat of paint on the engine.
Also if you did it right, you will be replacing all the vacuum lines so your leak may get fixed by default.
Seriously though, That's a bummer! and sorry to hear it.

Finally got to take mine to work again after getting it back together from my steering fiasco. Feels good to drive it again.

I had leaking wheel cylinders so I'm completely cleaning the entire rear brakes.

On the hunt for some rear 10" drums. I have everything else but the drums and I don't want to spend 80$ on new ones. When the rest of my brake setup for the rear was free.
