I put the fron seats back in tonight. I sprayed in UPOL Raptor yesterday and it looks awesome. It has been cold here so it didnt dry as fast as it should have... Then sat it it for a while in the driveway and had a beer
A good day at work never beats a day (or night)working on the Jeep...
Finished the welding on the floorboards, added some steel channels to the bed to stiffen it up and give me some steel to mount the fuel cell to. Did the final sandblast of the inside and bottom getting ready for some por primer on both sides. This wed looks like por day and then time to seal all the seams. So far I think the body has been more work than the rest of it or maybe its just that I dislike the bodywork part. All in all things are moving again.
BEsrk I just drain the fluids, attach a strap to the top of the cage and pull the vehicle over in the backyard.. strap only costs $15. Or.. I just drive up a tree with one wheel until the rig flops on its side.. too easy and that one's free.
I pulled the old brake and steering parts, axle shafts, and carrier, out of my front and rear Scout D44's I am starting to rebuild...next will be to pull the outer knuckles to replace with the flat top chevy knuckles I picked up from foggybottombob and haul the empty housings over to work to clean up real nice in the industrial sized parts washer....sometimes being a chemist comes in handy! 4.10 gears and ARB rear/Detroit front locker should arrive sometime in the next week or two!
