Looks good. For side turn indicator, I cut a hole in hood just behind the hood latch and relocated the idicator there. Run power wires along inside hood. Gives a sleek look like factory intended and get to reuse the OEM amber marker.

Added a check valve to OBA system just upstream of the air manifold.

Thank you. Cool idea on the side indicator light. I hadn't even got to the point of thinking about that yet. Gotta get that done too. Passenger side is half done. Should be complete by the end of the weekend.

Did the final fit up and then welded everything out on Dad's winch bumper. Then put a new, higher HP motor on his 8274.

Details on new motor please. Am toying with a pigtail to run my 8274 at 24 volts via dual batteries in series.

Stripped all the interior but the drivers seat to prep for fixing some rust spots and lining the tub, and chopped my factory bumper into a stubby bumper. It looks so much better that way.

The replacement motor for a 24v system is #8803

The original motor is 2.5hp, the motor we put on is 4.5hp.

Its available on Amazon from DB Electrical for $83

Finished other project. Since dual batteries, why not a dual volt meter?

Also shown is EFI fuel pressure and dual paddle controller for rear helper air bags.

Worked on my winter project -- rebuilding the hard doors that came (in boxes) with my 78 CJ7. The PO did a pretty crappy paint job on them and the interiors were just a mess. So today I masked and began to paint a door. The painting will be the easy part -- but I want to get that done before re-doing the windows and hardware.

I was checking the CJ over to go on a little wheeling trip on Sunday and found a bad u-joint on the front driveshaft. Pulled the shaft and had new Moog u-joints installed. Also installed an LED license plate light.

Started her up after a month in the barn. Too much snow to drive it around the corral and fields.

Looks like I have a brake fluid leak at the left rear drum. Gotta get that fixed before we go live in April. Front reservoir of master cylinder was dry. Good to know that now instead of at the first traffic light at 45 mph.

Good to see her again.

Wheeled it. Gave the new winch a good workout.
