What is this body panel called?

My 76 CJ7 has rust in only one place and I can't for the life of me find out what it's called so I can replace it. It's the rectangular panel that the tailgate bolts to the body. Looks easy enough to fix and I can't imagine it being that hard to replace but don't know what it's called or where to find a new one. Thanks in advance.

Yep I looked at that also. Might not be a common place to have that problem. Too many salt blocks for the cattle sat back there. Rest of the jeep has no rust.

Classic Enterprises was the only place I could locate that part. The quality I saw when I received it convinced me to use them entirely for my replacement parts. They are more expensive than others, but everything fits perfectly. My body and fender guy loves them. He told me flat out that I was going to save on labor what I paid extra on the parts, maybe more.

Great parts made here in America. On the new wheel well EVERYTHING is exactly the same, even down to the spot welds.

I'm next! Woo hoo!

I'd rather be lost on the trails than found at home!
