What the **** is this....?

I took the Ol' Girl for a 30 mile spin this morning.

It's been sitting in my garage for about 3 hours, since, and there isn't a drop of fluid anywhere!!

Should I be worried?

Matt

If it isn't leaking, it's probably because it's bone dry on the inside. I'd start checking fluid levels.

LOL! In years past, I knew something was empty when she stopped leaking.

Now, I'm like a duck out of water....

When I was a Huey crewchief, the Chinook crewchiefs used to say, "If it ain't leaking, brace for impact"!

Not to worry. It's leaking. It just happens to be leaking directly over the expansion joint in your slab, where it just weeps down in and is hard to see. Or again, it's out of Jeep juice.

My jeep always seems to leak worst AFTER a really good power-wash cleaning.

Normally, all the leaking fluids mix with the dust, dirt, and mud to form a "protective shell" of grime

Aint it the truth.

When I brought my Greasy Pig 360 home, one of the funniest comments I got from a JF member was, "at least you know it isn't rusting under all that grime".

I like hearing about other cjs leakless. I didnt think a leakless cj was possible either but after resealing my driveline with new seals and bearings and chasing my leaks after the complete rebuild of the 4.2L, the only thing leaking on my 83 is my steering box which is next to get sealed. Also keep in mind that not all my fluids are synthetic in fact just the oil in the engine and tranny is synthetic. Its just not the prettiest thing on the road right now but its mechanicaly sound at the moment.

CONGRATULATIONS, you've just defied a basic law of physics. Next I suppose you'll be floating around in the sky showing us that gravity has no hold on you...

In the past few weeks I've noticed that I didn't leave drips in other people's driveways when I visit. Started me worrying that there was an issue. "If there's no oil under it there's none in it" But so far my fluid levels are good.
