That would be from what they control. If the upstream downstream tubes are in place when you remove them you will have a hole to weld closed.

There are a few sensors and wires that don't get used once you either "Nutter" or rid yourself of the MCU unit. Off the top of my head- Knock Sensor, 02 Sensor, Thermal Electric Switch, Wide Open Throttle Switch and Coolant Temperature Switch. You should keep your EGR, Intake Manifold Heater, CTO and Evap system.

I kept my stock distributor, just upgraded it to the "Team Rush" mods as it is a better than HEI, or so I have read.
