Yes. Sealing the cowl cover on the outside isn't going to do anything. Water still goes down in there, and it's supposed to. it's the part underneath that needs sealing to the cowl. And the Ribbon Seal is the best thing I know of for that.

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em. -

Hey Colt, care to clarify what you did, again? It didn't sound like you dropped the plenum, or did I miss it?
