Washer spray

How do I get the washer to spray out? I'm
Not even sure if its hooked up. Should there be a hose leading from the washer fluid to something? Pictures of your complete system would be greatly appreciated

That top port is just a vent. The business end is at the bottom. If yours isn't working, either the motor could be fried, it's not connected to the switch, or your washer lines are plugged. Sorry, no pics, but I'm sure someone will have them.

Hopefully this will help. First, the picture you posted is at the top washer tank cap. The nipple on the cap is a vent hole only. The action takes place at the bottom of the tank where the washer pump is located.

The first picture below is taken looking up at the bottom of the washer tank. The washer hose comes off the pump and up through the firewall (with a grommet). Second picture is where I located mine (above and to the right of the fuse block). The hose then goes under the cowl piece to the spray gizmo. Third picture is from the Jeep Parts Manual (81-86).

Hope this Helps and Good Luck

Whoa! Sorry for the "picture gone wild". I will meet with my IT department to make sure it doesn't happen again.
