Yep, FI all the way. Just be sure to hook the PCV up correctly, or your fuel injection may turn into oil injection.

Just wanted to close the books properly on this one. I tried adjusting the mixture screws on my carb several times (experimenting with making it more lean and rich ). In the end, i couldn't fix it. But my mechanic did. He fixed it by resetting the choke/ high idle. Now for cold starts, i press the pedal in once fully to set the choke and fire it up. I give it 20 seconds or so at high idle...tap the gas...and it's good to drive. Thanks for everyone 's input here!
