Volts gauge burnt up, Lost the whole left side of fuse block

Today the volts gauge in my 1979 jeep cj7 burnt up. It grounded to the dash and started smoking. I cut the jeep off and unplugged it. now i have lost the wipers, the blinkers, pretty much the leftside of the fuse block..can anyone help me i need it.

The fuse box is split into switched and non switched sections and it sounds as if you lost the whole switched section of the electrical system. Since the rest of the fuse box works, horn, brake lights, I don;t think you blew out the fuseable link.

You probably have a bad connection in the fuse box or in the ignition switch. It seems as if it could be in the Accessory side of the ignition switch. The rivets in the fuse box may have overheated and now making a poor connection. The plug on the ignition switch were the ACC feed comes may have overheated and now is making a poor connection.
