valve cover upgrade questions

i have an 85 cj7 with a 258 and im looking to upgrade the plastic valve cover to an alluminum one to prevent breakage and leaks the questions i have are do you have any recomendations for a specific brand or style of valve cover.

i know you have to do some head modifications to replace the stock valve cover with an alluminum but what are the differences between regular taps and bottoms taps and where is a good place to be able to purchase the bottom taps that i will need i belive most applications will require a 5/16" bottom tap.

and are there anything else i will need to do the alluminum valve cover swap im sure i missed something.

I didn't have to tap my remanufactured engine for the aftermarket valve cover but I did have to use 2 different size bolts but that doesn't matter -no leaks. See if you can avoid tapping the head because you can tap too deep real quick and have coolant coming out that hole.
