Yep John looked at both compression is down to 60 psi on the number one and well my version of leakdown is hooking the compressor hose to my compression tester hose and checking for leaks and well the exhaust pipe has a steady flow of air that way lol.
Took the rockers out of the equation and still leaked pretty sure she will need the head reworked and may as well do both while I am at it lol.

The engine runs pretty good other than that and if i did not always check those things with all my new to me toys I would have never guessed it the way it runs.

My bad. I meant to say that the link works but the scenarios aren't in the article. It goes from the introduction then a blank spot on the page and then the conclusion. I've looked on other sites though and my vac seems to fit the norm
