Ubolts for a Dana 30 Front in an 86 CJ7

Hey guys, I'm trying to piece together a lift.. I have mostly everything from RE. I'm having a problem getting the UBolt kit for the D30 I have in the front.

RE said they are out of stock for a week or so.. (wtf?) -- Quadratec said they have them in stock, but then I checked my order today and it says "At Drop Shipper" meaning they are going to have RE drop ship them, but they don't have them either!

Is there somewhere else I can get these darn ubolts?

Thanks guys,

Open up the yellow pages and look for a spring shop. They can bend up exactly what you want.

I picked up a set a the local parts house - Take your old ones with you as the parts counter people don't seem to have a Fa#$ing clue how to look them up. I've seen them at both Napa and Schucks.

Well I don't want to have my jeep apart and not moveable in the middle of the shop floor and not be able to get the parts I need for it. I kind of wanted everything in place before I started.

There aren't any offroad shops something like Rusty's that sell ubolt kits for a Dana 30? I am finding this pretty hard to believe that nobody has something that I figured was common..

Rubicon Express Front Axle U-Bolt Kit for 76-86 Jeep CJ with Dana 30 Front Axle

Here's a set.

But, it also depends on how think you're leaf springs are. I'm pretty sure these are for a 2" wide spring, but don't take my word for it, I might be wrong. This set does come with the nuts & washers, for a Dana 30 axle, 76-86 CJ.

I called them.. they don't have them either. I tried calling many places.. everyone says "oh that's ok they'll just ship from the factory".. yeah eventually they would.

I just hit up the yellowpages and got a few close-by shops. I'll try calling them tomorrow to see if they are open and if not I'll hit them up Monday morning. I didn't expect to have this problem.. I can foresee it pushing me back another couple days.. dunno if wheeling is going to happen this weekend.

Well, I bought my U-bolt from a factory, and had them shipped as well ..and, it worked out quite good. About 5 day shipping, from across the country, but they had them in stock.

Sorry I couldn't help.

I recently had to buy two for my AMC20 rear. Went to my local NAPA and they had them in stock. I'm sure they carry them for the front also, but if they don't have them in stock they should be able to get them in 24 hrs.
