U-Pol Raptor CJ5 Tub Line
Been meaning to do this for a while. Finally got some warmer weather, and some time to pull all the seats and misc wiring, etc & get this heap cleaned up and lined.

Used the 4 can U-Pol Raptor liner $129, with the gun it came with, a solid air compressor and a whole lot of prepped tape & plastic.,2600.html

Turned out pretty nice. We'll see how it handles a summer & fall of wheeling through Ohio's finest. :highfive:

Looks real nice. I really like the painted transmission cover on the black. What pressure did you spray at?

I did my buddies YJ a week ago. I was very pleased with the results. Sprayed it at 60psi. I can't wait to get the tintable version for mine.

That looks incredible. Was thinking of going Line X route but this looks great for a lot cheaper i'd say. Good work!

That looks great. I want to do the inside and underside once i finish all the body repairs. Whats the temp rating on this stuff. I was thinking the engine compartment also?

Hey guys sorry for delayed response.

Sprayed it at 40psi, anymore and I think the texture would have suffered. Of course the distance matters too, steady as she goes.

As far as temp rating goes, the site I bought it from had different locations/temp rated options. Bought what I knew the midwest/Ohio area would see.

A full summer ahead for this thing, I'll be sure to post an update after this has gone through some hell both temp and use to see how the liner held up.

Looking to buying another 4pack to do the wheel wells and any other places needing covered/cleaned up. More fun garage work/prep ahead.

Sprayed the CJ8 w/4 bottles a few years ago and no fading etc. Been sitting in the Fla sun and Nv and has not turned white or changed.

Looks good.

I've had a Jeep for 3-4 years that has Raptor lining, in fact that is where I learned about it. It had been sitting at a Hot Rod shop for at least 3 years, so it has 6-7 years on it and never been inside. Still looks great, I must redo because a spot didn't cover well, but was not Raptor's fault. It is tinted Raptor with House of Kolor Molly Orange.

I sprayed mine with Raptor tintable aroud 6 years ago and it has never been inside since and if i hadnt sprayed it with Simple Green to clean it about 6 months ago it would still look as good as it did when i sprayed it. As far as toughness, we wheel hard through brush and anything else and it has held up great. It even stuck when the hood came up and hit windshield at 55mph (hood holds water now):(

The time now is 12:46 AM.
