Rommel,

I couldn't help but notice the one CJ-7 tub (black towards the right) in these last two pictures that you posted. This must not be a licensed one as I don't see the "Jeep" stamping on the sides, but I do see the baffles towards the rear of the wheelhouses. I know Keith's tub didn't come with them, and the one I purchased just recently didn't come with them either. Is this a running change that you just started?

Just for clarification I have circled the baffles in yellow so you know what I'm talking about. It also appears that the wheelhouse ribs are properly stopped before and after the baffle as the OEM tub was. As I said, mine and Keith's tubs aren't this way and really need to be to attach the roll bar properly.

So what should be our date for the CJ Jeep BBQ at Quadratec? May 11 or May 15? And who can join? It'll be fun!

I think the 11th would probably be best to get the most turnout. I might just have to take a trip down from Northern NY to attend.

Again ,I am also appealing to the Forum members who are willing to donate their old CJ tub which we can use as a sample to measure and bring back to the Philippines with us. We plan to offer a discount on a new tub if your tub is chosen

We need the following tubs:
1 .CJ7 Late
2 .CJ5 Early, Version A
3 . CJ5 Early, Version B
4. CJ5 Late, Version B
5. CJ5 Late, Version A
6. M38
7. CJ6 Early
8. CJ6 Late

Cheers,
Rommel

Also if it pushes through the Quadratec guys do a mean BBQ. they actually have a sub business that sells BBQ equipment.

But I heard that beer during work hours is frowned upon in the states .
So if we do it on a weekday I guess we have to wait til 5 before I can take out my San Miguel Beers

this is foreign for me because beer is ok anytime in Manila!

I love it in the Phils!! the first time I went there, stepping off the plane it felt just like I came home (I almost kissed the ground). I been there 2 times and thinking it is about time for another visit. No I am not Pinoy just a Kano
Guess where my handle comes from..... a very special Pinay and her kids in Cagayan De Oro City, Mindanao

OrangeCJ.....Maybe it's with a tailgate and without a tailgate ? That would be my guess. If they can get them with ALL the corrections made....I'm game for 2 of the CJ5's. I'm tired of repairing used ones with rust. I want to start out NEW. And put an end to repairs ! I'm gettin too old. I want to enjoy my jeeps more than I do now. I'm back to YABA DABA DOIN the street and dirt through the floor pan again...like the Flintstones did ! Just ready to start NEW !! Get it right Juan and you'll get a from my better half cause I'll spend more time with her ! Thanks again JUAN.....77t18a
