There was a guy in Juliustown, NJ that had over 40 jeeps from 1941 and newer. He might still have them. It's a bit of a trip from Westchester, but you might be able to see a whole bunch of years all at once. PM me and I'll send you his name and address.

Dave

I'm not sure what tomorrow will bring, but it can't be any worse than what I've already been through.

I'd like to give everyone an idea of how we make the tubs here in the Philippines.

Here is a link of pictures taken by our French Dealer when he visited the MDJuan plant.

and here are some pictures that I took on my own:

thanks!

Rommel, you also promised to give some detailed explanation on the primer you are using.

Thanks Momo

This is why i am trying to fix a tub rather than buy a new one. If i could order one direct and get it Brisbane for a decent price id likely by a few of them (i do have 5 jeeps)

I think you are in the minority on this one.

I love having a tailgate. I don't roll with a backseat, it's virtually impossible for an adult to use anyway. The rear of my CJ is just one big cargo area for gear. The tailgate makes it considerably easier to load and unload that stuff.

Besides, any tailgate makes a great seat for enjoying a beer after a long day on the trail, or in the hunting woods.

Attention Jeepers in PA. Since MDJuan is visiting our dealer in Pennsylvania in mid May we'd like to host a simple get together or a barbecue with the intention of meeting MDJuan customers or would be customers

It's of course also very cool to visit the Quadratec Headquarters in West Chester PA as well. (That is if we finalize the plans)

Also we'd like to invite CJ owners to bring their Jeeps (our ulterior motive is to measure them) but we also want to have a barbecue and beer!

Also if anybody has an old spare jeep tub that we can use as sample maybe we can make a deal on a discount on a new tub ( you can wait until we improve them) if we can use your tub.

Let me know what you think guys

Tub raffle? Uhmm let's start with a discount for an old tub swap

Also if it pushes through the Quadratec guys do a mean BBQ. they actually have a sub business that sells BBQ equipment.

But I heard that beer during work hours is frowned upon in the states .
So if we do it on a weekday I guess we have to wait til 5 before I can take out my San Miguel Beers

this is foreign for me because beer is ok anytime in Manila!

Our slogan goes: It's more fun in the Philippines

I can't help much with the more popular CJ tubs, but I do have a spare '74 CJ5 tub that I'd offer up for that discount deal. It is damaged on the right rear corner, but very mildly. Also, I'm nowhere near PA, so some other arrangements would have to be made. Let me know if you're interested.

Perhaps that's why your tubs need so much work to make them right?

Just sayin'.....
