You're welcome Rommel. Anything I can do to help make the tubs better.

Also notice on the pictures of that bare tub the roll bar mounting which Keith has pointed out needs the "pause" in the wheelhouse rim and the baffle which you have made the dies for.

The pictures also show the welded on tabs that bend back to hold the wire harness up on the driver's side and the rear harness hole in the left rear corner of the wheelhouse. That is a 1982 tub pictured.

I thought of something I've been wanting to add to my 79 CJ5. That Tool box from the early Jeep's. Do you sell just those parts?

When I sold my 55 and bought a 79 I missed the lockable storage and the tailgate. I've added one of your Willys tailgates. I'm ok with resetting the seat brackets. Probably to my cage.

Hey,, how about a tool box under both front seats.

Do you reproduce the Footman loops? I haven't seen one that looks close to the originals yet.

Thanks
Larry

Looking very good Rommel!

Does anyone with a early CJ-7 want to buy a new tub with the late style improvements to trade for my new untouched tub sitting in my garage??

All good things come to those who wait.

Looking good Rommel!

Now, if you could just get the hole drilled and add the sheet metal tabs for the wire loom, it would be good to go.

Rommel,

I notice something else in the bottom of the picture. Is that the bracket for the fold and tumble seat that I see there?

At some stage in the thread, it'd be nice to see a complete list of all the improvements already made, and the pending improvements that will be made. I know you put some pictures of the sort way back in the thread but we've added quite a few notes and suggestions to what you need to do since that time.

Keith is right on the wire harness hole in left rear corner and also the welded on tabs for the wire loom. These would be two easy items to add and cover 100% of the CJ-7s for all years.

That looks to be a Jeep YJ wheelhouse. I see holes for the tailgate latching bracket also and the holes for the factory rear seat locking bracket as well.

Those items are what we are talking about making just small dimples in the metal for location purposes only. Drilling them if needed.

Has anybody mentioned the CJ5 without a tailgate and the need for this body. There are a few out there without tailgates.

They say money can't buy happiness but it can buy Jeep parts...and Jeep parts make me really Happy.

Rommel,

I have come across the opportunity of acquiring a rusted out 1985 CJ-7 body tub that still has its integrity. Are you interested in getting it for yourself as a template? Would Quadratec ship such a thing?
