Rommel,
Do you still need a late CJ5 tub?
We have a 79 that is in really good shape and is complete.
It has some minor fender problems on it, but it is correct and would make a good sample.

Jeff

Great work Rommel. I know keith460 had issue with his perfect OEM hood aligning to the MDJuan tub. Have you improved the cowl stampings so that doesn't happen again? Also have you started work yet on the baffles in the rear wheelhouses on the CJ7 tub? Once you start stamping those out I'd really appreciate a pair to weld into my new tub that I have sitting out in the garage. I can handle all the other small modifications needed but I know the place that Keith was able to source his from no longer offers the wheelhouses that have them installed already.

This is what I'm talking about here:

Hmmm, my passenger side was OK, but the drivers side was not. Had a large gap between latch handle vertical area and tub 'B' pillar. That's why I never had my doors painted for the tub. Did try fitment and moving them around but the results were always the same... large gap on drivers side.

No picture of the gap but I did try fitting them.

I see excellence in the making!

Will they have the stamped/flanged hole in the center like the originals?

My new tub is patiently waiting to get it's needed modifications to go on the CJ once I get the tub that's going on my plow Jeep off my original frame.
