I'll see you in a few hours Rommel.

While Rommel was giving shirts out, I gave him my original 1984 factory transmission tunnel cover plate, complete with a JeepForum.com decal and some words of appreciation.

Hope Rommel uses it as a template to check the new and improved transmission cutout on the floor panels of the later version CJ-5 and CJ-7 tubs.

Wish I could have been there yesterday but I had other pressing items to attend to. Looks like everyone had a great time and I sure hope to see Keith's Jeep in person someday soon! Can't wait to see the improvements on the replacement tubs!

Thanks Keith and the JeepForum community for presenting us with your symbolic transmission cover . We really appreciate the gesture and we are sure it will help us improve our tubs. And it reminds us that we could not have done these improvements without the generous contributions of the forum members.

In return we presented Keith with a brand new JEEP! (we'll sort of....lol).

I know it's not exactly fair , but after all, it's the thought that counts
