Face it, a Jeep CJ is cheaper to restore than a 68 Chevelle SS 396 any day of the week and everyone loves them and wishes they owned one.
Indeed! I want to build a brand spanking new CJ8, but refuse to until I can get an actual bolt on tub.

I am in the same frame of mind. I will rebuild my "7" to brand new when I can get a tub worthy of OEM quality.
Case in point: I waited 2 years to find a near perfect OEM rust free, none butchered up windshield frame for my "7". I just put it on last weekend now I am a happy camper.

I can't afford a new tub and I doubt that I will be able to in the future. I applaud Rommel for seeking the correct information and making the hobby better by offering quality parts.

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life wrote a blank check Made payable to 'The United States of America' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.' That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.'

Pay with cash, save the coin, and you'll have enough in no time

I'm awake! I'm Awake!

Sorry guys, had to sleep. I'm on the other side of the world remember.

To lay this issue to rest, I'm already in the works to be a paying vendor. I'm just trying get help from one of our dealers as we don't really sell retail to the US.

Rest assured though that I am serious about implementing the corrections to our tubs that I'm getting through this thread.

And I will report to you asap on the developments.

Cheers,
Rommel

p.s. Can I get a show of hands again on who can make it to PA on May 11? Attendees will get a free SHIRT!!

Rommel is very shrewd for capitalizing on the free R&D, that guys like Keith are providing. My hat's off to him for that. But I think it's disingenuous to say he's not advertising at the same time.

Matt
Now I think your argument is valid, but not for the OP.

Not only this, but I would want the "new improved" tubs we are all talking about!

Rommel,

I think your sponsoring the forum that is providing so much valuable R&D for you is a wise move.

With your business savvy, I think you'll find many ways to promote your product here.

Thank you.
