Of course I cant find any pictures of that part of the jeep before dissasembly/ sandblasting. My only guess is some sort of antena that may have been covered over with bondo.
damn, now I may have to close it up with the filler. I couldve easily got it with a patch when I was welding.
any guesses as to what it may have been?

My first guess would be a big antenna, my second would be some sort of light. Looking good

well, the cb antena hole is gone now...
any final pointers for me before I shoot the primer? its tractor enamel red oxide going over a combo of bare/sandblasted,etched steel, fiberglass body filler, and seam sealer.
forgot to mention: campbell hausfeld gravity feed gun, oil-less maxus compressor... no moisture seperator. thinning with mineral spirits...?

Holy 'ish man, nice work. I just read this entire thread, and now I have something to look forward to in ~10 years
If I get a DD for the winter, maybe i'll be able to keep my tub in relatively rust-free condition?

Thanks guys! The support helps a ton!!
I do have a job. But I could get so much done if I didn't!!!
Im a builder.
I work on this every night and all weekend every weekend. When this is done... I will relax a bit and work harder on making my wife happy . We have 3 kids, she works full time as well....she's got her hands full.
I'm looking forward to the days when I can just tinker and modify this jeep for fun, Not thats its not fun now.... I will just like it better when there is less pressure.
