Just run a search, I have seen several threads with pics pop up in the last couple weeks about the same topic.

Has anyone used the skid plate/truss kit that 4WD hardware sells? I've been looking at it, and it just uses U-bolts to attatch it. Just a thought.

Don't bother with that product, it will catch on every rock and flip itself over. Not worth the money at all.

Thanks, I had it down as one of my "to do" items, but if that's the way they are, then I will stay away.
What's the best way to truss one? I looked at the thread in the earlier post, but I'm just wondering which might be the best/cheapest way to truss it. And do I need to weld the axle tubes together and truss it, or could I get away with just doing one or the other?
