Trick to getting a t5 Shifter off?
Well I am beginning my tranny swap. T5 to an np435. The first little I ssue I have ran into is getting the T5 shifter stick off. I know it comes off, but not sure how.

Jeep. There's Only One
|
You must depress two prongs at the base of the stick shifter to release the spring type clip inside. The tabs should be on the left and right side of the shifter at the bottom of the square base. Squeeze the tabs and pull the shifter off.
