Transmission leak

I've got a small transmission leak on my 1980 cj7 with tf999.

I think it's coming from the pan, but am not sure. The seal on the input shaft is brand new, as I just swapped a 4.0 in it a few months ago.

How easy is it to change the filter and gasket on the pan? Is there a writeup or video I could watch?

Would it hurt to put some leak stop in it just to see if that stops it? I know it's not ideal, but thought I'd ask.
