Transfer case ID ?

I had a 74 CJ5 w/ 258 6cyl at one time and I took out the trans and Tcase. and am wondering if someone could help me identify them. All I know is it's a 3 spd trans, So what might the Tcase be? Where to look on it an for what? Any help will be greatly appreciated, Jeff

If it is single shifter and texas bolt pattern where it bolts to the trans ( There will be a 1" adaptor hard to see on a dirty trans) it is a 20 and the rear output will be centered, round to the trans with no adaptor would be a 300, a 18 transfercase would have a drum on the rear output ( E brake), and be off set.
