transfer case id ?

trying to see if someone could help me id the transfer case in my 1983 cj7. 6 cyl. 258. 4 speed trans. dont know what transmission? transfer case has 2 shifters.

Dana 300. Same as came on all '80s CJs.

There are also Dana 20s with 300 cast into them. The aluminum rear output housing is a dead giveaway that it's a 300 though.

Did the 1980 CJ D300s have a cast iron rear output? I know that none of longer vesions did.

I thought so, but wasn't sure. That's the same output that the D20 uses. I knew the speedometer drive was on the same side, but didn't know they were cast iron.
