What is envolved in swapping a AX15 in place of a T-5 in an 85 cj7? I have the 6, with the dana 300. For that matter what is envolved in a t-176 swap? Im trying to retain some hiway drivability as well as play on the trails on the weekends? I blew secound gear on the T-5. Thanks again!!
AX 15 is pretty simple. You just need a pilot bushing that will work, an internal or external master and slave set-up. Most likely different drive shafts, alteration to the floor at the shifter hole, and a pedal set-up that will work with the hydraulic clutch.
