Also should mention you'll need wheel spacers for the 12.50's if you have a narrow track axle (which you probably have wide-track in '83). Mine were rubbing on the leaf springs without spacers, and I have a high offset 15x10 rim. check the offset of your rim at the very least.

Im going to roll under it in a bit to see if I can see the markings on the case. It is 13 Degrees here....LOL

Cant find any markings anywhere....I checked and cleaned the entire area...anyone have a pic of where they found the #?

If you can't find the code, jack the rear end up, put a chalk mark on one of the tires, turn the tire 360 degrees and count how many times the driveshaft turns.

That will get you close.

mine was on the indicated area. sorry, can't get to my jeep to take a pic. you have to look hard. It may be worn smooth.
