Tire and Spring Combo Question

I have a 4 in skyjacker lift on a 1980 CJ5 Running 33's. I am putting wide tracs on and was curious if I can go up to a 35" tire? the manufacturer says the max tire size is 33. the shop says I can go 35 with no issue. any Input?

You'll probably want to cut the back of the rear wheel well to clear the 35s too. They're too wide to fit, regardless of your lift.
