in trying to make ya'll proud, I may have just wrecked two carbs. why the heck are the butterfly screws so dang soft?? to make this possibly work, I need a longer arm for my throttle linkage. this thing:

somebody make these, or can you buy them in different lengths? I need one an inch longer.

Most folks section them. Just cut it in half and use a short sleeve to extend it. The other option is to thread the inside (on the hollow ones)and use a piece of thin all-thread to join them. You can also extend the linkage at the pivot ball using a short piece of flatstock.
